What to look for in the July sky



On July 1st, the Moon will sit above Mars. On July 2nd the Moon will be positioned between Jupiter and Mars.


By July 3rd, Jupiter will be close to the Moon.


Mars will be near Uranus on the 14th and 15th.


Mars and Jupiter will approach each other all month forming a triangle with the Moon on the 30th.


Moon Phases:

  • New Moon: July 5

  • First Quarter: July 13

  • Full Moon: July 21

  • Last Quarter: July 27
