Two Tornadoes Confirmed in Saskatchewan #SKwx

Environment and Climate Change Canada has confirmed two tornadoes in Saskatchewan from August 21st. There was a tornado near Fulda and a second tornado just north of Humboldt.


This tornado has been given a preliminary rating of EF-0. EF-0 tornadoes have wind speeds between 105 and 137 km/h.


Typically, this tornado only causes minor damage.


This was considered a landspout tornado that was generated by weak rotation under rapidly growing clouds or weak thunderstorms. Landspout tornadoes do not usually cause significant damage but can still be dangerous as they can topple trees, damaged roofs, or toss debris a short distance.
