Two people missing due to Cyclone Alfred in Australia

Cyclone Alfred is continuing its assault on the eastern coast of Australia with heavy rain, strong winds and flooding.
The storm is impacting Willis Island, South East Queensland, and the New South Wales North Coast.
At least two people are reported missing. On Thursday it was it was reported that a jet skier had gone missing, with the jet ski recovered near Broadbeach, Queensland. A man went missing after his car was swept away by floodwaters in Dorrigo, New South Wales.
On Friday, there were wind gusts over 100 km/h at the Gold Coast and Byron Bay.
Large trees had fallen in Kirra due to strong winds. There are over 80,000 properties across Queensland and New South Wales without power. The Northern Rivers began experiencing widespread power outages, with 43,000 homes left without power due to trees falling on power lines overnight.
The storm formed on February 20 with the highest winds reported as 215 km/h.
