A magnitude 6.2 has hit Turkey.
The earthquake occurred at 12:49 p.m. 21.3 km southeast of Marmara Ereğlisi, Turkey. It was at a depth of 10 km.
The earthquake was not too far from Istanbul, a city of 15.7 million people. Buildings were swaying from the earthquake.
The earthquake was also felt in Bulgaria, Greece, and Romania.
So far, there are no reports of injuries.
