Storm Éowyn pounding portions of the United Kingdom and Ireland

Storm Éowyn is having a major impact on portions of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The U.K. Met Office has issued Red Weather Warnings for Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland.
Some areas have already seen gusts over 90 mph this morning as the storm moves over the region. As the storm continues to move northeastwards the strongest winds are now expected to shift across Northern Ireland and parts of western and central Scotland.
Heavy rain will accompany the strong winds across Northern Ireland and Scotland today and tonight.
Violent hurricane force winds will occur in coastal areas of Ireland today to the west and north. Rain and thunderstorms are expected.
Mace Head, Ireland had a record high wind gust of 114 mph.
