Storm Likely in Ontario on Easter Monday

It looks like a storm system will have a profound impact on the weather across Ontario on Easter Monday.

Most of northern Ontario could end up seeing heavy snow. Total snowfall accumulations could reach 30 centimetres.

Areas such as Sault Ste. Marie will likely remain as rain. 15 to 30 mm is possible. This rain may cause flooding as the ground remains frozen.

Across much of southern Ontario, gusty winds are likely with gusts to 90 km/h possible. The strongest winds will be near eastern Lake Erie.
