Solar Eclipse Forecast
The Total Solar Eclipse happens on Monday and will be visible across most of eastern Canada and the eastern half of the United States.
With the proper eye protection, it is sure to be a spectacular event to witness, but will the weather cause problems?
Right now it looks like the best spot to view the eclipse will be in New Brunswick and Quebec.
Across Newfoundland, there could be sunny breaks along the path of totality, but areas such as the Avalon, northeastern areas and western areas will likely experience cloud cover. Cloud cover is expected across Prince Edward Island.
Cloud cover is also expected across southern Ontario.
