Several people injured in Taiwan earthquake

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit Taiwan just after midnight on Tuesday.


It was at a depth of 10 kilometres and hit 12.1 kilometres north of Yujing, Taiwan.


In the cities of Chiayi and Tainan, there were reports of some damage. 27 people were sent to hospital with injuries.


There were no reports of deaths.
