Several dead after plane crashes in Kazakhstan
A passenger plane carrying 62 passengers and five crew has crashed in Kazakhstan.
The Embraer 190 aircraft operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, was heading from Baku to Grozny and made an emergency landing approximately three kilometres from the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.
There are over 20 people confirmed dead.
According to preliminary information provided by the airline, the passengers included 37 Azerbaijani citizens, 16 Russian citizens, six Kazakh citizens, and three Kyrgyz citizens.
A hotline has been arranged for the family members of the affected passengers on board the aircraft to get the necessary information.
