Parts of Ontario could see over 30 cm of snow today

Lake-effect snow will bring significant amounts of snow to portions of Ontario today.

Areas southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay will continue to see lake-effect snow squalls today. Additional local snowfall amounts up to 35 cm are expected along with blowing snow.

Areas southeast Lake Superior could see snowfall amounts up to 25 cm combined with blowing snow.

Portions of southern Ontario, along the shores of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay and inland likely reaching the northern GTA will likely see 5 to 15 cm of snow today along with reduced visibility in areas of blowing snow.
