Ontario and Quebec facing incoming storm threat

A storm system will impact Ontario and Quebec today to Thursday.
Northeastern Ontario
A winter storm will affect much of northeastern Ontario this evening and diminish late Thursday.
Snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm is expected and winds gusting to 50 km/h will result in areas of blowing snow giving reduced visibility.
Southern Ontario
Tonight through Wednesday, 15 to 25 mm of rain is expected across Southern Ontario. There is also a risk of thunderstorms.
Rainfall, combined with melting snow, is expected, so some flooding may occur.
Quebec:
For the Lower North Shore, 10 and 15 centimetres of snow will fall starting overnight Wednesday night. Snow will then change to freezing rain on Thursday and continue for much of the day, making roads and surfaces icy.
A total between 15 and 25 centimetres of snow is expected from Wednesday morning to Thursday for western areas.
For southwestern Quebec, temperatures will rise significantly on Wednesday and Thursday. A period of rain will begin on Wednesday and will bring between 15 and 30 millimetres of rain until Thursday. After a few centimetres of snow, there will be a risk of freezing rain Wednesday morning before temperatures rise and the rain begins.
