A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Kyushu region of Japan on Wednesday.
The earthquake occurred at 11:03 a.m. local time and was at a depth of 25 km. The epicenter was 54.1 km east-northeast of Nishinoomote, Japan.
There were no reports of damage, and there was no tsunami danger.
Japan frequently experiences earthquakes.
