New Year's Eve Forecast

If your plans for New Year's Eve take you outside, here is the weather you will be up against.

Eastern Canada

It will be unsettled across most of Newfoundland and Labrador into tonight thanks to an area of low pressure centred over eastern Hudson Bay. Rain is expected across western areas of Newfoundland and snow, rain, and freezing rain will fall over Labrador.

In Southern Ontario, both snow and rain are expected.

The weather across Atlantic Canada and Quebec should be fair.

Lows will generally be near freezing for most major population centres.

Conditions across the western half of the country will be tranquil tonight. Along the northern coast of British Columbia, winds will be a touch gusty.

It will be quite cold across the Prairie provinces with love into the minus teens and minus 20s.
