More snow expected Friday and Saturday for parts of Atlantic Canada
As a low impacts the region today, another low is expected to bring some snow to eastern Newfoundland and portions of the Maritimes.
Snow is also expected on Friday in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and eastern New Brunswick. For southern and eastern Nova Scotia, snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm is possible. Coastal sections of southern and eastern Nova Scotia could see wind gusts to 70 km/h.
Snow is expected for the Burin Peninsula and the Avalon Peninsula on Saturday. 5 to 15 cm is expected for the Burin and southern Avalon with lesser amounts expected for the northern Avalon.
Another system will impact the region on Monday.
