Messy morning commute on Thursday across the GTA

The morning commute will be impacted in portions of southern Ontario on Thursday.

Portions of the Greater Golden Horseshoe and eastern Ontario will see about 5 to 10 cm of snow. The highest snowfall amounts are expected over eastern Ontario. The snow will ease across the GTA in the afternoon and overnight for eastern Ontario.

Early in the morning, there will be the risk for some light freezing rain or freezing drizzle.

A larger, more powerful low will move in on Friday impacting a larger area.
