Flooding Hits Central America
Parts of Central America have been hit hard from flooding from the remnants of Tropical Storm Amanda.
Heavy rain fell across areas from Mexico to Panama.
Back on Wednesday, some parts of El Salvador recorded a total rainfall of 120 mm. The National Emergency Commission issued weather warnings across the country.
Areas in both El Salvador and Guatemala could see as much as 600 mm of rain by the time the low pushes away.
While the area is no stranger to tropical storms, they usually approach from the east, not the west.
