Flooding and washed out roads in Nova Scotia due to heavy rain

Roads have been washed out in some areas of Nova Scotia due to heavy rain from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl.


Emergency alerts have been issued for Digby, Annapolis, Kings and Hants counties.


Residents in the hardest hit areas were pumping out their homes and some people needed to be rescued.
