Ferry delays and transportation cancellations as storm slams Maritimes

A powerful storm is impacting Atlantic Canada.

There are power outages across the Maritimes. There are 505 customers without power in Nova Scotia, two on Prince Edward Island, and 654 without power in New Brunswick.

Wind conditions on December 18, may result in restrictions of traffic on the Confederation Bridge commencing approximately noon, December 18, until approximately 3:00 a.m., December 19.

Marine Atlantic is not sailing today or tomorrow and anticipates changes to the schedule on Wednesday morning.
