Earthquake in El Salvador
El Salvador was rocked by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake on Sunday.
The earthquake occurred at 11:18 a.m. local time and was at a depth of 49 kilometres. It was located 50.8 kilometres south-southeast of La Libertad, El Salvador.
Local officials said there were no injuries and no significant damage was reported.
The earthquake was also felt in Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Mexico.
There was no tsunami threat.
