The Atlantic Hurricane Season kicks off today. The Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from today to November 30.
There are no storms expected in the next seven days. The first named storm will be Alberto, the first name of 21 on the list for this year.

This is expected to be another active season. NOAA is forecasting a range of 17 to 25 total named storms. Of those, 8 to 13 are forecast to become hurricanes, including 4 to 7 major hurricanes.
