Astronomy Highlights for March 2024
This month Venus will appear as the morning star. By March 7th, look between the Moon and Venus and you will see Mercury.
Venus will meet Saturn in the night sky on the 21st and will be joined by Mars on the 29th.
On March 25th there will be a penumbral lunar eclipse. This occurs when Earth's shadow falls on the Moon's face. It is easy to miss because most of the Moon is illuminated by sunlight.
The Vernal Equanoix occurs on March 19.
