There was a 6.4 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan at 1:50 p.m. local time.


The earthquake was centred 45.0 km south-southwest of Jurm, Afghanistan at a depth of 206 kilometres.


The earthquake was also felt in areas of Pakistan and India.


There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
