Afghanistan Flooding Claims 72 Lives

On Wednesday, seventy-two people were killed, ninety people were injured and hundreds of dwellings were destroyed when a vicious flash flood rained down on Parwan province in Afghanistan.


There were also reports of flooding in eight other provinces in the northern section of the county.


Emergency disaster relief is being provided to the survivors according to officials.


The economy of Afghanistan is suffering due to COVID-19 and the years of war in the country.
