3 Dead, Hundreds of Homes Damaged in Onalaska, Texas

A tornado tore through Onalaska, Texas on Wednesday night.

There were 306 homes damaged and three people are dead, 20 to 30 residents were injured, four were critically injured.

Some communities surrounding Onalaska were also hit.

Onalaska is a city in Polk County, Texas. It is situated on a peninsula between the main channel and one arm of Lake Livingston and has a population of 2,800.

The tornado was rated as an EF3 on the Enhanced Fujita scale.
