Missing Beach Returns

Locals in Ireland have noticed something unusual.

After missing for 12 years, a beach that was lost in storms years ago has returned.

An intense storm batter Ireland's west coast and caused a beach to return.

The sands of Ashleam Bay, on the island of Achill, were washed away by a storm in 2005, leaving just boulders and rock pools.

A storm that battered the country this summer caused the beach to return seemingly overnight. Additionally all the boulders have been removed.

Something similar happened a few kilometers away at Dooagh when a beach that was missing for 33 years returned.
