Winter Weather Approaches Saskatchewan

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Saturday, January 26, 2019

A Pacific low pressure system will move into Alberta and Saskatchewan beginning on Saturday night in northern Alberta and early Sunday morning in Saskatchewan.

The weather in southern Saskatchewan will be more severe.

Warmer air will prevail ahead of the system.

Mixed precipitation will be created in a line stretching between North Battleford and Regina.

Snow could switch to rain and freezing rain.

10 or more centimeters of snow is possible in northwestern Saskatchewan.

The low will also be accompanied by strong winds.
