Winter Storm to Bear Down on Northern Ontario

Posted by on Thursday, November 17, 2016

A significant low-pressure system will bring rapidly accumulating snow to parts of Northern Ontario on Friday and Friday Night.

15 to 25 cm of snow is likely over most areas combined with strong wind.

This will generate local blowing snow which will severely reduce visibility.

Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings, winter storm watches, and special weather statements for the area.
