Starting Monday Morning, there will be a slow moving low pressure system that will dump a rain/snow mix on areas of the Maritimes, however the City of Halifax will get the worst of this storm.

Starting early Tuesday morning, this rain/snow mix will turn into periods of heavy snow.   The accumulations will be in the 5-10 cm range.   On top of the heavy snow, the winds will be extremely gusty on Monday, and Tuesday, with the peak winds reaching 40 km/h, with wind gusts even higher.

Thankfully though, the skies will clear out and the winds will die down starting Wednesday morning.   The sunshine will also appear on Wednesday.
