Winter Coming Back For Another Fight in Newfoundland

An area of low pressure will be centered over the Gulf of St. Lawrence tomorrow just off the coast of the Great Northern Peninsula.

Rain will begin over the Bay of Islands region around midnight tonight.

By morning, the Deer Lake area, Green Bay-White Bay, and areas as far north as Port Saunders may see an extended period of freezing rain.

The Great Northern Peninsula will see snow. The snow will change over to rain on Thursday afternoon.
