Wildfires Scorch parts of Florida

Wildfires are continuing to have an impact in Florida. There are more than 100 wildfires burning across the state.

So far hundreds of square kilometers have burned.

The drought has intensified across the state recently. 

Officials have banned campfires and charcoal grills in Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. At that site a fire has burned 33 square kilometers.

Cowbell fire continues to be the largest fire in Florida. So far 67 square kilometers have been burned.
