Why Do We Get Sick When the Seasons Change?

With warmer weather on the way it seems like a lot of people get sick. But we cannot directly attribute the warmer weather to the cause of your cold according to experts.

Rhinovirus and coronavirus are the two main culprits of the common cold. When the temperature changes these virusis thrive.

The reason we get sick in the winter is because of the influenza virus. It replicates and spreads most effectively when the air is cold and dry.

To avoid getting sick always make sure to wash your hands, get lots of exercise, eat healthy and make sure to get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep a night.
