Who is Getting What With This Weekends Atlantic Storm?

An area of low pressure currently positioned off the coast of Nova Scotia will move across Newfoundland and the Maritimes beginning tonight.

Over the course of the day a rain-snow mix will spread across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

By about 9:00 pm this evening snow arrives on the south coast of Newfoundland. A steady snow will spread across most of the Island. The exception will be the west coast where minimal amounts of snow are expected. Rain or flurries is expected on Saturday evening and into Sunday.

Very strong winds are expected to develop this evening also with gusts up to 100 km/h along the west coast and 160 km/h in the Wreckhouse area.
