Where is Henri Headed?

Tropical Storm Henri is moving faster to the north. The latest track for the storm brings Henri just to the south of the southeastern Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland on Saturday morning.

However having said that, Henri may briefly make landfall on Saturday before racing eastward into the Atlantic.

If the storm tracks close to land, the southern Avalon, such as Trepassey, Portugal Cove South, and St. Shotts may see significant rainfall, possibly as much as 25 to 35 mm and wind gusts to 60 km/h. 

There remains some uncertainty as to what impacts Newfoundland will see and a lot can change...
