What Ontario Will Face Thursday: Snow and Icy Roads

Winter weather is setting up in Ontario with more snow on the way on Thursday.

On Thursday snow continues over much of Northeastern Ontario with an additional 5 to 10 cm possible.

Central Ontario and northern portions of Southwestern Ontario will also pick up about 2 to 4 cm of snow.

On Thursday night snow squall's may develop to the southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay early in the evening.

Accumulation of 15 cm is possible along with reduced visibility.

Over Southern Ontario including the Golden Horseshoe showers is expected as the temperature drops to freezing overnight causing icy roads.

A significant impact on transportation is likely.
