We are watching an area of low pressure that will deliver a band of rain to the St. Lawrence Valley, the Maritimes, and eventually Newfoundland.

It appears as though some areas of the St. Lawrence Valley could receive significant rainfall amounts, up to 20 to 30 mm.

Over the Maritimes, the heaviest rain looks like it will fall over the eastern Nova Scotia where up to 30 mm is possible.

In Newfoundland, the west coast will see the most rain with 40 mm possible on Sunday.

Models are not in complete agreement regarding precipitation amounts.
