Wet Wednesday Across Newfoundland

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Tuesday, September 11, 2018

An area of low pressure pushing across Newfoundland will deliver some much needed rain to the Island portion of the province today.

The rain began overnight and will taper off west to east.

Rain will be heaviest along the west coast, the Burin, and the Avalon.

Over these areas rainfall totals could accumulate to 20 to 40 mm.

The remainder of the Island will see anywhere from 10 to 20 mm.

Be sure to adjust your driving accordingly.
