An area of low pressure located over northern Labrador will bring some rain to Newfoundland, and a rain or rain-snow mix for Labrador today.

The heaviest rain will fall across central Labrador and the Great Northern Peninsula over those areas 10 to 15 mm of rain is possible.

Across coastal Labrador, inland Labrador, and the west coast of Newfoundland, 5 to 10 mm is possible.

The Avalon, central Newfoundland, and the south coast will only see about 2 to 4 mm. The exception to this will be along the southern Avalon where 10 to 20 mm is possible.

We may also see an isolated non-severe thunderstorm over eastern Quebec and parts of Atlantic Canada.
