Wet 24 Hours in Newfoundland

An area of low pressure will move over northern Labrador and bring rain to Newfoundland and Labrador today and tomorrow.

The heaviest rain will fall over the Avalon, South, and West Coasts.

Rainfall Forecast:
Happy Valley-Goose Bay 10 to 20 mm
St. Anthony 5 to 10 mm
Corner Brook 15 to 25 mm
Marystown 10-20 mm
Gander 5 to 10 mm
St. John's 10 to 20 mm

Over these areas generally 10 to 20 mm is possible, although some areas could see locally higher amounts.

There is a risk of thunderstorms also.

Some gusty winds are expected.
