Weather Station to Land on Mars

Posted by on Thursday, October 13, 2016

Planning a trip to Mars and wondering what the weather will be like for your visit? Probably not... but soon you will be able to find out the weather on the red planet thanks to ExoMars.

Starting next week a weather station capable of recording temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind, and humidity will begin sending its findings back to Earth.

It is set to land on October 19. There is concern that a global dust storm appears to be developing on Mars. However the group says that will not affect the landing.
