Weather Highlights for Oct 19

Most of Eastern Canada will see nice weather Thursday with Newfoundland and Labrador and the Maritime Provinces remaining dry. Temperatures in Newfoundland will be around 10 degrees. Temperatures in the Maritimes will be 15 to 20.

Southern Quebec and Southern Ontario also be fair, meanwhile an area of low pressure over northern Quebec will bring some rain to Northern Quebec and Northern Ontario. Highs of 15 to 20 is expected.

There is some rain with the potential for some snow over higher elevations of the Alberta Foothills. Otherwise the southern portions of prairie provinces will remain dry, some rain and snow is possible in northern sections. It will be warm in southern Saskatchewan with temperatures potentially reaching 25. Elsewhere temperatures may climb into the mid-teens.

Meanwhile in British Columbia another area of low pressure is moving on shore which will bring some rain to lower elevations and large metropolitan areas such as Victoria and Vancouver, while some snow is expected for higher elevations and snow for the majority of the northern coast. High's in the mid to high single digits are expected.
