Weak system for Wednesday & Thursday

Posted by on Monday, March 7, 2016

A low pressure system will approach Newfoundland from the west on Wednesday Night into Thursday.

Presently it appears as though all of Newfoundland will start out as snow before changing over to rain, expect the Great Northern Peninsula where it appears as though snow will be the dominate precipitation.

This system will be nowhere the magnitude of the storm we saw over the weekend. Generally snowfall amounts should not exceed 10 cm and rainfall amounts will be even lower, likely not to exceed 5 mm.
