Washington Flooding Prompts Emergency Declaration

Several counties in eastern Washington are contending with widespread flooding.

Rapid snow-melt combined with rainfall has caused flooding in several areas.

Governor Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency for several counties.

Ferry, Okanogan and Pend Oreille have all reported widespread flooding.

Late this week, another system moves onshore that may bring some more rain.
