Warm Up Coming to the Prairies

The Prairies will begin to thaw out. Soon in the three Prairie provinces it will be safe once again to leave your houses.

A significant warm up is expected as we move into next week.

In southern Alberta strong wind will also develop with gusts up to 80 km/h expected on Sunday.

The average high for Calgary on Sunday is -1.4°C, with a high of 0°C expected. Edmonton will get up to -5°C. In Saskatchewan, Regina will warm up significantly on Sunday and even more on Tuesday with a high of -4°C, the normal high is near -9°C. Winnipeg gets up to -5°C on Wednesday with a normal high of just -10.8°C.
