Warm & Unsettled across the Prairies

Posted by on Saturday, March 5, 2016

Saturday over southern portions of the prairies temperatures soared into the high teens. Particularly warm was Medicine Hat airport, in Alberta and Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. This is a trend that will continue on Sunday as well. Temperatures will cool back down on Monday but will still be very much above seasonable.

Sunday and Monday precipitation forecast to develop over Alberta, then Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Both rain and snow is likely from a low with the possibility of freezing rain over portions of the central prairies on Sunday night.
