An area of low pressure is forecast to develop along the Alberta/Northwest Territories border this afternoon.

Once developed the low will push eastward.

Associated with this low will be a warm front. This front will push into Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

This will bring warmer air into the region for this weekend and into early next week. Some areas will get up to the freezing mark.

It is not all good news however, with the low comes snow. Some areas could see 5 to 10 cm of snow.
