US Thanksgiving Forecast

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Thursday, November 22, 2018

The big story for Thanksgiving will be how cold it is across the Northeast.

A blast of arctic air will push wind chills to between minus 15 and minus 25 in the Northeast on Thanksgiving. Temperatures on Thursday will struggle to get out of the teens and 20s across New England and the 30s in the Mid-Atlantic states, with wind chills making it feel even colder.

Some coastal showers are possible along the eastern coast of Florida, Texas, and Louisiana.

Out west California will receive some much needed rain.

The Pacific Northwest will see another system that will see  heavy mountain snow up to 3 feet or more is forecast in the western state mountains.
