US Ground Beef Recalled Over E. Coli Fears

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Monday, September 24, 2018

132,000 pounds of ground beef has been recalled in the United States over fears the meat may be contaminated with E. coli.

One person has died and at least 17 are sick from consuming tainted beef.

The source is Cargill Meat Solutions in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The tainted meat was sent to stores across the United States under several names. This is the second such recall from Cargill in a month.

If you have tainted meat return the product for a refund or discard the product.

Symptoms of E. coli include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever, malaise, loss of appetite, and mild dehydration.
