Uranus Stinks!

Hold the jokes. As it turns out Uranus smells like rotten eggs.

New research confirms that the seventh planet from the Sun has a very potent odor.

There is a quantity of hydrogen sulfide in the planet's atmosphere.

Until now it was difficult to draw this conclusion in the past.

It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System, with a minimum temperature of -224°C.

It has a complex, layered cloud structure with water thought to make up the lowest clouds and methane the uppermost layer of clouds. The interior of Uranus is mainly composed of ices and rock.

Wind speeds can reach 900 km/h.
