Posted by on Wednesday, December 7, 2016

A disturbance over Eastern Quebec combined with a low to the south will bring some unsettled weather to Atlantic Canada.

It looks like rain in Nova Scotia on Thursday and a a rain-snow mix to Newfoundland with snow expected for Western and Central sections and rain for the Avalon and Burin Peninsula's.

Snowfall amounts of 20 centimeters is possible in some areas.

On Saturday snow squalls will develop in the wake of the low pressure system.

Conditions will improve on Sunday.
