An area of low pressure will bring some unsettled weather to Newfoundland beginning on Saturday night.

The system will be a fairly long lived event, leading to several days of unsettled weather across Newfoundland and Labrador.

On Saturday night most areas of Newfoundland will see some snow with the exception of the South Coast and the Avalon, where a rain or a rain-snow mix is expected.

Newfoundland will briefly clear out overnight on Monday before a second pulse of moisture comes through bringing some rain, snow, and the risk of some freezing rain to portions of the Island throughout the day on Monday.

Conditions will once again clear on Monday night as an area of high pressure builds over the region. However, another disturbance may bring some flurries on Wednesday night.
